PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder capable of sufficiently recovering the delivery state of a recording head without interrupting an image recording for a long period of time regardless of the kind of an ink, and of repeatedly performing a flushing with the same recording medium by reusing and of stably and continuously performing the image recording at a high speed and with a high image-quality. SOLUTION: The inkjet recorder is equipped with a conveyance mechanism 4 for conveying the recording medium 2, an image recording part 5 with a fixed line-like recording head 41, and a double-sides recording course mechanism 7 which has a conveyance belt for inversion 72 for temporarily holding the recording medium 2 and inverses the recording medium 2 for reusing. Thereby, the flushing can be performed by reusing the recording medium 2 without interrupting the recording regardless of the kind of the ink, and the image recording at a high speed and with a high image-quality can be performed stably and continuously.
