PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finish a wall surface beautifully by reducing the face side of a baseboard while making hardly visible a clearance of the baseboard due to the unevenness of a floor face. SOLUTION: The baseboard provided at a contact part of a wall and a floor in a building to cover the wall surface at a predetermined height from the floor face is formed bent. The baseboard 1 has a front plate part 2 covering an upper part out of the wall surface at the predetermined height, an intermediate plate part 4 extending backward from the lower end of the front plate part 2; and a rear plate part 6 extending downward from the rear end of the intermediate plate part 4 to cover a lower part out of the wall surface at the predetermined height. The lower end of a wall backing material 11 constituting the wall surface 10 is located at an intermediate part of the predetermined height to be protected, and the front plate part 2 is located on the surface side of the lower end 11a of the wall backing material 11. The intermediate plate part 4 is located on the lower face side of the wall backing material 11, and the rear plate part 6 is located on the surface side of the wall behind the wall backing material 11. A space from the lower part of the front plate part 2 toward the rear plate part 6 is formed between the floor face 13 and the intermediate plate part 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
