PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile safely conveyed even with a sharp lower end and improved in driving work efficiency. SOLUTION: This pile comprises a pile body 10 with the lower end formed sharp, and a cylindrical outer cylinder 20 covering the pile body 10. A collar part 11 is formed in the middle of the pipe body 10. The outer cylinder 20 is detachably divided into a lower cap 30 and an upper case 40. An inward projection 41 abutting on the collar part 11 of the pile body 10 is formed on the inner periphery of the lower end of the case 40. Both ends of the case 40 are formed with internal threads 47, and an external thread 37 screwed with the internal thread 47 of the case 40 is formed at the base end of the cap 30.
