PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder which can record an image to a recording medium while preventing ink from being rubbed off to drop, and to provide a recording method and a program. SOLUTION: In a recording mode of a high possibility that a face of the recording medium after the image is recorded is rubbed, kinds of the ink used are limited to suppress small a quantity of a pigment given for recording the image to at least a part of the face of the recording medium.
