PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine capable of certainly avoiding the lowering of product precision and capable of making a mold compact, and the mold. SOLUTION: A wedge body 62 is moved by the drive mechanism 73 of a core drive mechanism 110 and a core 103 is pressed to a fixed mold 3 by moving a pressure body 63 toward the core 103 to perform injection compression molding. At this time, the force for pushing the core 103 is doubled by the wedge body 62 to efficiently produce compression force. As a result, necessary torque is reduced by a servomotor 75 and an equal capacity can be obtained by the more small-sized servomotor 75 to achieve space saving and power saving. Further, the operation speed, acceleration and positional precision of the wedge body 62 are enhanced by using the servomotor 75 in the driving of the wedge body 62 and the core 103 is rapidly moved with respect to the lowering of the temperature of a resin not only to perform compression but also to suppress the error of the thickness of the obtained product to contribute to the enhancement of quality.
