PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion-engined driving-in tool driving a fixing element such as a nail, a bolt or a pin into a bed and not allowed to work while a combustion chamber is closed in drawn-up state from the bed. SOLUTION: This setting tool 10 has the combustion chamber 13, an inlet/outlet device 40, an engaging device 37 and a working switch 22. An electronic control unit 20 and at least one of initialization switches 21, 23 connected to the unit are provided on the tool, and the control unit allows ignition in the inside of the combustion chamber only in the case when time between changing of the initialization switch and changing of a working switch connected to the control unit is less than predetermined allotted time.
