<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graphics control panel capable of extending the display function efficiently at a low cost. SOLUTION: An extension unit 4 is made to be attachable to and detachable from an extension bus connector 4a by providing an extension bus connector 3g in a main body control unit 3 in which only a fundamental function is preliminarily mounted. When the extension unit 4 is attached to the main body control unit 3, the buffer IC 31e of the unit 3 becomes to be in an OFF state and the buffer IC 4c of the unit 4 becomes to be in an ON state. As a result, an expansion function is automatically made to be effective in preference to the fundamental fuction and the picture data outputted from a display controller 3c are transferred only to the side of the unit 4 via the expansion bus connectors 3g, 4a. Then, a prescribed processing concerning the extension fuction is given to the picture data by a display signal processing circuit 4 and the data are returned to the unit 3 to be supplied to an LCD 2 via TFT-I/F connectors 3f, 2a and a graphics is displayed on the LCD 2.</p> |
