<p>Band saw comprises an adjusting drive wheel and further drive wheel which are adjusted using a tensioning device. Preferred Features: The tensioning device is elf-tensioning with respect to the first degree of freedom. The band saw has a support (1) for supporting deviating wheels (3, 4). The rotary axis of the adjusting drive wheel pivots by maximum 90[deg], preferably by maximum 45[deg].
