Disclosed herein is an inputting apparatus (100) for inputting information making use of light, including, a body member (101) having an end portion, a substantially spherical lens member (100a) retained at the end portion of the body member (101), and a reflecting member (100b) disposed between the end portion of the body member (101) and the lens member (100a) and configured to reflect at least part of light incoming from the outside of the inputting apparatus (100).
