<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment device capable of converting waste, such as a Si-based gas into industrial waste which is easy to handle. SOLUTION: This waste treatment device is provided with a first unit which turns waste into slurry with water or a solution and a second unit 4 which dehydrates the slurry produced in the first unit and solidifies the dehydrated slurry in the shape of cake. In this constitution, the water or the solution (filtrate) produced by the dehydration treatment in the second unit 4 is returned to the first unit 2 and reusable suitably. In the case when the waste is a Si-based gas, it is recommended that the first unit 2 be provided with a scrubber 6 which converts the Si-based gas into SiO2 by oxidation treatment. In this device, the waste, which is finally taken out, is wet cake and easy to handle.</p> |
