<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device using ink for an organic EL hole injection layer providing an organic EL element having high light emission efficiency, high luminance, and a long service life. <P>SOLUTION: This organic EL display device includes a picture element having an anode composed by a transparent electrode, a cathode, and a polymer light emitting layer arranged between the anode and the cathode, a picture element having one kind of light emission color or a picture element having a plurality kinds of light emission colors for emitting different colors are two-dimensionally arranged, and the picture element showing at least one light emission color has the hole injection layer. The hole injection layer includes an associated body of donor molecule containing polythiophen and its derivative and acceptor molecule containing polystyrene sulfonate and its derivative. The hole injection layer is formed using the ink for the organic EL hole injection layer having ionization potential which is larger than 5.3 eV and is smaller than ionization potential of the polymer light emitting layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
