<p>In a method for fixing sections of at least two components (8, 12), lying against or on each other, by deformation using a punch, one of the sections is provided with a hole (preferably a through-hole) in which the other fixing section is deformed by the punch in such a way that both fixing sections are plastically deformed. An independent claim is included for apparatus for the process, consisting of a punch with a greater diameter than the hole in the fixing section.</p> |
