<p>Use of a thermoplastic polymeric molding material for the production of metallically-coated light-reflecting components, which are on the basis of thermoplastics and are suitable for operating at 200[deg]C, where the molding material comprises polyamides such as homopolyamides, copolyamides, blends of homopolyamides and/or copolyamides and these polyamides are amorphous or transparent polyamides, which exhibit a glass transition temperature (T g) of at least 205[deg]C.
