Connector (1) has two clamp retainers (2,3) that are combinable in a locking manner with the connecting sub assembly. Two clamping screws (5,6) are inserted into appropriate recesses (4) of the clamp retainers. One of the two clamping screws is connected to clamp sleeve (7) with screw thread in opposite direction, so that two clamping screws are pushed inwards at each other, on rotation of the clamp sleeve, or pulled away from each other.
