The supporting rail has a constant cross-section from its fixing end (14) to its hook-shaped file supporting end (20), with a core section (12) between its two ends in the form of a section of an arc of a circle comprising some /3 of its circumference. The fixing end of the rail is slightly concave in shape, with holes (16) at intervals for screws, and the supporting end has a rounded rib (22) along its edge. The rail can be extruded from a plastic material such as PVC or a metal such as aluminium.
