摘要 The system functions with several high temperature solid oxide fuel cells in series for stimulation of at least electrical energy. It comprises an air source, a fuel source for natural gas, at least one first and one second high temperature fuel cells connected in series, each with an anode inlet for fuel, an anode outlet, together with a cathode inlet for air and a cathode outlet. An electrical connection is provided for emission of stimulated electrical energy. Cathode inlet of the first fuel cell is connected to the air source. The anode inlet of each fuel cell is connected to the fuel source. The cathode outlet of the first fuel cell is connected with the cathode inlet of the second fuel cell. A by-pass air connection is provided between the air source on the one hand and on the other hand a mixture connection between the cathode outlet of the first fuel cell and the cathode inlet of the second fuel cell. A compressor assembly is provided for compression of air and is of the low pressure type (2) with an air inlet (3) and an outlet (4). A high pressure compressor (5) is also incorporated with an inlet (6) and an outlet. The outlet of the low pressure compressor is connected with the inlet of the high pressure compressor. A compressor turbine assembly has a compressor turbine (8), an inlet (9) and an outlet (10). The air compressors and the compressor turbine are mounted on a common shaft (11). Between the outlet (4) and the inlet (6) extends a primary air path (12) via which a primary air current from the low pressure compressor passes to the high pressure compressor. For cooling the primary air flow in the primary air path, a heat exchanger (17) is provided. First, second and third high temperature fuel cells are used (30,40,50) connected in series. A heat exchanger or recuperator (20) is incorporated which heats the air coming from the outlet of the compressor assembly, making use of heat withdrawn from exhaust gases from the system. The system includes a fuel source (21), i.e. natural gas, but in a variant hydrogen.
