FIELD: polymer production and waste water treatment. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processes for treating phenol-formaldehyde resin production waste water, which results in preparation of pressed materials. Process of preparing press composition comprises mixing ammonia-tar liquor from phenol-formaldehyde resin production with preliminarily ground adsorbent, which is mixture of ground vegetable-origin filler and glass plastic crumb based on thermoset polymeric material at weight ratio (3-5):1; performing polycondensation process on heating with ammonium hydroxide added; after which sodium hydroxide solution and formaldehyde solution are added in at least two steps and resulting product is dried. Components are mixed at initial liquid phase-to-adsorbent ratio (2.8-3.5):1 and formaldehyde is introduced in the form of aqueous solution until final phenol-to-formaldehyde molar ratio no less than 1:2. ^ EFFECT: achieved utilization of ammonia-tar liquor and simultaneously obtained press composition showing high physicochemical characteristics. ^ 6 cl, 1 tbl, 4 ex |
