FIELD: medical technique. ^ SUBSTANCE: tooth-brush with drive unit includes handle with neck portion extending from handle. Tooth-brush also includes head joined with neck portion and having open outer surface, first and second bundle units mounted in head, first and second driving members. Bundle units have sets of bristles extending outwards from open outer surface of head. Driving members are joined with sets of bristles for moving first bundle unit around axis practically normal relative to open outer surface of head and for moving second bundle unit in direction practically normal relative to open outer surface of head. Tooth- brush may have third bundle unit. Second bundle unit may move inwards and outwards. Tooth-brush may include bundle unit with grooves having one groove in central portion of said unit and drive mechanism. The last has means for bending said grooves in such a way that to move set of bristles between rest position and second position. In rest position set of bristle extends practically normally relative to open outer surface of head. In second position grooves are bent by means of drive mechanism in such a way that set of bristles is shifted in cross direction outwards relative to rest position. ^ EFFECT: improved efficiency of cleaning teeth. ^ 33 cl, 7 dwg |
