MEMBRANE MOLECULE EXPRESSED SPECIFICALLY IN ACTIVATED PLASMACYTOID DENDRITIC CELL

The object is to identify a membrane molecule which is expressed specifically in an activated plasmacytoid dendritic cell, for the purpose of controlling the functions of a dendritic cell that can integrate an immune system to thereby prevent or ameliorate a disease such as cancer, autoimmune disease, allergy and infection. Thus, disclosed is a protein comprising an amino acid sequence selected from the following items (a) to (c): (a) an amino acid sequence depicted in SEQ ID NO:2; (b) an amino acid sequence which has the deletion, substitution, insertion and/or addition of one or several amino acid residues in the amino acid sequence depicted in SEQ ID NO:2 and can control the functions of a dendritic cell; and (c) an amino acid sequence which has a homology of 80% or higher to the amino acid sequence depicted in SEQ ID NO:2 and can control the functions of a dendritic cell.
