In accordance with the present invention, a multisegmental drinking straw (5,6,7) is secured in a pivot (8) construed in the lower side of the tab top of can. The said straw is self presenting at opening of the can and retained partially within the can. The peculiar structure and material concur to extract in part the said straw after opening and permits a safe drinking, reducing the likelihood of transmitting unsanitary materials from beverage can tops to the consumers. After the use the said straw can be removed from a manual traction concurring a material parting for recycling. The present invention provides an inexpensive, user friendly an effective means for providing the consumer with a sanitary and convenient alternative to current non hygienic beverage cans without imposing economically unfeasible demands on current manufacturing procedures.
