The shelter roof (2) consists of a one-piece hollow structure made by rotomoulding, blow-moulding or assembly or two moulded half-shells with angled stiffening grooves (4B, 4B') in its upper and lower surfaces. The grooves are positioned so that they intersect at intervals and create bridges of material that add to the roof's rigidity. The roof is supported by uprights (3) fixed to the ground by traditional means such as welded plates and bolts. The shelter can also have side panels or translucent or transparent plastic or glass.
