FIELD: agriculture, in particular, equipment for root harvesting and conveyance of various kinds of piece loads. SUBSTANCE: rod elevator blade has C-shaped rods 4 with ends bent outside and attached to cheeks 2,3 of links 1 of parallel pulling sleeve-and-roller chains. Rods 4 are made detachable and arranged so that their bent ends are alternatively oriented in opposite directions for 180 deg. Rods are provided with retainers 6 holding rods in predetermined position within central part of cheeks. Ends of rods 4 are formed as connecting fingers of links 1 of pulling chains. Fingers are disposed in fixed position in cheeks 2 and 3. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 cl, 11 dwgi
