The linear motor comprises a rod (1) having a magnet (3), a plurality of coils (4) arranged in the axial direction of the rod (1) while surrounding the rod (1), a housing (2) covering the plurality of coils (4), and a coil holder (5) for holding the plurality of coils (4) in the housing (2). The coil holder (5) is formed by integrally molding a plurality of resin spacer parts (5b) interposed between all adjacent coils (4) for insulating the coils (4) from each other with a holder body part (5a) extending in a coil arranging direction.</p>
