An image shake correction device includes: a shake correction optical system (2) for correcting an image shake by movement in a first and a second direction in a plane orthogonally intersecting the optical axis; a first actuator (3) for driving the shake correction optical system (2) in the first direction; a second actuator (4) for driving the shake correction optical system (2) in the second direction intersecting the first direction substantially orthogonally; and a position measurement device (5) for measuring the movement amount of the shake correction optical system (2). The shake correction optical system (2), the first actuator (3), the second actuator (4), and the position measurement device (5) are arranged substantially on a virtual straight line (A) parallel to the first direction.
