<p>The invention relates to a device (4) which is used to transfer loads between atleast two upstream (1) and downstream (2) load conveyors which are intended toconvey loads (3) between different work stations. The inventive device is characterisedin that it essentially comprises: an intermediate conveyor (5), part of eachof the ends (5', 5") thereof extending alongside the upstream (1)and downstream (2) conveyors; and a lateral holding means (6) for maintainingthe loads (3) in the cantilevered position thereof as they are being transferredbetween the upstream conveyor (1) and the downstream conveyor (2). The inventionis especially suitable for use in conveying loads using push plate conveyors,particularly in systems comprising a conveyor change.</p> |
