<p>It is intended to provide a method of forming a tissue whereby the size of a three-dimensional tissue containing proliferative cells can be surely controlled. A method of forming a three-dimensional tissue containing proliferative cells comprising: preparing at least one base material having a specific surface region (21), which has a definite area and can retain cells, and a plural number of adjacent surface regions (22), which are a plural number of adjacent surface regions located adjacent to the specific surface region, have the definite area as described above and can retain cells and the distances (L2) from the gravity centers of the individual of which to the gravity center of the specific surface region are the same; culturing cells in the specific surface region (21) and the individual adjacent surface regions (22) of the base material to thereby form three-dimensional tissues respectively in the specific surface region (21) and the individual adjacent surface regions (22) of the base material; and altering the distances (L2) in the base material to thereby control the size of the three-dimensional tissue formed on the specific surface region (21) depending on the distances (L2).</p> |
