摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a regeneration time of a filter without damaging a particulate filter due to excess temperature rising or without deteriorating an oxidation catalyst carried by the filter. <P>SOLUTION: When an operation state of the engine is in a post injection execution region, and it is determined that a pressure difference by upstream side and downstream side pressure sensors arranged with the filter interposed therebetween is more than a predetermined valueα1, a post injection is executed with a regeneration initial mode. When a temperature difference tf-tr between a temperature tf by a second exhaust temperature sensor and a temperature tr by a third exhaust temperature sensor becomes not more than a reference temperature differenceΔt, an injection mode is changed to a regeneration later state mode. In the regeneration later stage mode, an injection amount is reduced or an injection timing is advanced compared with the regeneration initial mode.
