摘要 A millimeter-wave radar 3 (obstacle detecting device) detects an obstacle in front of a traveling vehicle. A driving-state detecting device 5 detects a specified driving state of the vehicle. An operation-timing changing device 12 changes an operation timing of operational devices according to detection results of the driving-state detecting device 5. A control unit 10 (operation control device) operates the operational devices (warning device 13, brake device 14, seatbelt pre-tensioner 15 ) at the above operation timing. Thus the safe and smooth vehicle driving can be attained without an improper detection of the obstacle.
