<p>The muffler has three resonator chambers (6, 7, 8) inside a housing (5), and an exhaust-carrying pipe (4) with a branch section (14) passing through the housing. The pipe (4) is connected and/or tied to an exhaust line (2). Each of branch pipes (11, 12, 13) branches off from the exhaust-carrying pipe in the branch section of the pipe (4). The branch pipes open respectively into the resonator chambers. The resonator chambers form three Helmholtz resonators with respective branch pipes, where the resonators have three different frequencies.</p> |
