Control method for a hybrid brake system

The method involves performing a measurement of chamber pressures and wheel pressures by right and left chamber sensors (20, 21) and right and left wheel sensors (22, 23), respectively. Correlation conditions between two measured pressures are evaluated to determine a condition of a hybrid brake system. Rear brake control pressures are selected among the measured pressures according to the values of the evaluated conditions. The control pressures are provided to calculate brake forces before being applied by respective electric brakes. An independent claim is also included for a hybrid brake system of a vehicle.
