Room unit comprises fire-containing housing (1) formed from several wall parts and cover part which are built as pre-constructed assembled parts (2). The assembled part is built in the form of transportable connecting parts (3) without lifting means, made of fire protection plates which can be joined together without a frame on the spot the room unit is to be situated. The housing is cuboid in shape and has at least four walls, cover and floor. It covers a ground surface area of one or more time a euro pallet of preferably 80 x 80 cm, 120 x 80cm or 120 x 120 cm dimensions. It has an opening (6) for cables or pipes.
