<p>The system has a storage container (1) for dry-ice pellet (2), a blasting tube (5) and a jet nozzle (6). A dosing device (3) dispenses the pellet from the container into the blasting tube. The device is surrounded with a housing (7). A nitrogen inlet (8) for producing inert-gas e.g. carbon dioxide, atmosphere and inert-gas overpressure around the dosing device is arranged in the housing. The container is arranged in the housing and a device for manufacturing the pellet is arranged in the housing. The tube is rinsed with the inert gas. An independent claim is also included for a method of blasting a dry-ice pellet.</p> |
