A plasma display panel and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce a manufacturing cost by forming a scan electrode and a sustain electrode only with metal electrodes. A scan electrode and a sustain electrode are mounted by forming a discharge starting part for generating initial discharge and a discharge diffusion part for diffusing the discharge to the entire area by using the initial discharge on a glass substrate. A dielectric layer is formed on the glass substrate. The scan electrode and the sustain electrode are formed with a symmetrical structure. The scan electrode and the sustain electrode are formed with an H-shaped structure or a U-shaped structure. |
