A finger ring consists of a short length of cylindrical noble metal with a transverse slit. The cylindrical inner face bears a circular groove to accommodate a second ring worn under the cylinder. The outer cylindrical face bears a short circumferential groove either side of the transverse slit. The cylindrical ring and the secondary ring are slightly eccentric with respect to each other. The inner ring is located fully within the groove opposite the transverse slit, and is exposed at the slit.
|
