Screwdriver handle has an outer layer (27) of a soft polymer which is bound to an inner layer (28) of a harder plastic, in which the shaft (2) is embedded. The radius of the handle varies and it has a zone whose maximum radial extent (38) is at least 30% of its radius in that zone and a second zone whose minimum radial extent (39) is at most 60% of the maximum radial extent (38).
