The yarn brake (B) has a brake blade (L) held by electromagnetic force against a fixed braking surface, at a swing flap (K) at the housing (1) so that the blade is detached from the braking surface when the flap is opened. A setting axis (S) gives the flap a controlled lifting movement, aligned on a geometrical pitch against the yarn path (W) to expose the yarn braking zone (12). At least one spring is at the under side of the flap to bear against the brake blade. |
