SUBSTANCE: eye-piece has two components - a positive meniscus whose concavity faces the object and has a focal power of 1.2 to 1.8 of the optical power of the second positive component; the distance from the plane of the object to the first component varies non-linearly at variation of F from Fmin to Fmax, the distance between the first and second components varies non-linearly at variation of F from Fmin to Fmax, where F - current value of focal distance of the pancreatic eye-piece. EFFECT: simplified design of night vision device, reduced overall dimensions and mass, provision of observation with variable magnification, which facilitates search for objects within a large field of vision and their identification at a high magnification of the device. 1 dwg
