PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply the output of an engine power generator to load in preference for highly efficient operation of engine power generating equipment, by setting DC output voltage rectifying the AC output of an engine generator so that it may not be lower than that of a commercial power system or the like. SOLUTION: When engine revolutions have risen sufficiently to a normal condition, if the DC output voltage Veg 0 of an engine generator is set higher than the DC output voltage Vac 0 of commercial power supply, the DC output voltage Veg 0 of a converter 13 becomes higher than the output Vac 0 of the commercial power supply, so that a diode 24 on commercial power supply side is in a reverse-bias condition and its continuity is inhibited. A diode 14 is in a forward-bias condition, therefore power supply to load 35 through an inverter 30 is conducted from an engine generator 12, so that an engine generator 10 covers total load current, and commercial power supply 20 supplies no load current. It is thus possible to make effective use of power generating capacity by operating power generating equipment under operating conditions with the highest efficiency. |
