Production of solid preparations of water-soluble or -insoluble active agents (I) comprises (a) dissolving or dispersing (I) in an aqueous molecularly- or colloidally-dispersed solution of a protein-containing protective colloid; (b) flocculating the protective colloid together with (I) out of the dispersion; and (c) separating the flocculant from the water and converting it into a dry powder. Also included is an Independent claim for oily suspensions comprising a disperse phase of (I) covered with protective colloid(s) but free of water-soluble vitamins.
