The compressor has a drive with adjustable swept volume for the intake and compression of a refrigerant, and lubricants separator to separate the lubricant from the refrigerant in the expansion region of the compressor. The lubricant is introduced to the drive by means of a partial flow branching off from the high-pressure refrigerant flow.
