<p>The table has a table column with a column foot and with a column head, where the column foot has a floor-side baseplate (12) and a column-side footplate (14). The footplate is mounted rotatably on the baseplate and is secured with a vertical play by an abutment against lifted oil from the baseplate. A pressure-actuated clamping cylinder (42) is provided in order to clamp the footplate against the abutment.
