The invention concerns a solar cell comprising a substrate (10), an electrode (11) formed on the substrate (10) and a light absorption layer formed on the electrode (11). The solar cell is characterized in that a root mean square surface roughness of the electrode (11) in a contact area region (16) between the electrode (11) and the light absorption layer is in the range of 10nm to 3000nm.
