2-(3-Phenyl-2-propenyl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-isoquinoline derivatives (I) are new. 2-(3-Phenyl-2-propenyl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-isoquinoline derivatives (I) and their stereoisomers, their addition salts and acid salts are new. X = N or C; R1-R6 = 1-8C alkyl, 1-8C alkoxy, 1-8C alkyl-S(O)n, 2-8C alkenyl, 2-8C alkenoxy, 2-8C alkenyl-S(O)n, 2-8C alkynyl, 2-8C alkynoxy, 2-8C alkynyl-S(O)n (all optionally by at least one halo), H, halo, NO2, NH2 or CN; or R1-R6 in pairs = form cycles; and n = 0-2. Independent claims are also included for: (1) the preparation of (I); and (2) a medicament comprising (I) (3) 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-isoquinoline of formula (III).
