A sampling container (10), destined to produce a cooling curve for a molten metal, is made up of a ceramic cylindrical body (12) , incorporating an inlet orifice (22) for molten metal formed in a lower part of the body, a sample chamber (14) connected by a canal (26) to the inlet orifice, a thermocouple (34) situated inside the sample chamber, a thermocouple connector (36) extending towards a boring (38) of a lance (40), and an outlet orifice (30) for the evacuation of air formed in the upper part of the body, connected by a passage (32) to the sample chamber.
