PURPOSE: A method for tuning a radio broadcasting frequency in a car audio is provided to be capable of detecting a frequency of a radio broadcasting of a good sensitivity without an operation of a driver. CONSTITUTION: In a method for tuning a radio broadcasting frequency in a car audio, a micro computer compares an input sensitivity level of a voltage signal from a tuner with a reference sensitivity level(120). If the input sensitivity level is more than a reference sensitivity level, a driver continues to audition a present broadcasting. If the input sensitivity level is less than a reference sensitivity level, the micro computer judges whether a predetermined reference time elapses in the state that the input sensitivity level is less than a reference sensitivity level(S130). If so, the micro computer performs an automatic frequency turning function of radio mode(S140). Whether a radio broadcasting frequency having an input sensitivity level more than the reference sensitivity level is detected is judged(S150). If so, the detected radio broadcasting frequency is stored(S160), and then a displayed through a display part(S170). There is checked whether a radio broadcasting frequency select signal is inputted by a driver(S180). If so, the selected radio broadcasting is outputted so as to be auditioned by the driver(S190). If not, the procedure is ended.
