PURPOSE: A miniaturizing structure of a portable printer is provided to simply carry in a pocket or a bag by forming the outer size of the portable printer small and to smoothly supply a printer paper. CONSTITUTION: A printer mechanism(13) is comprised of a head unit(133) for printing a platen(132) and a paper having the same width as a paper roll for transmitting the paper, a motor and gear unit(131) for fixing the platen and a mechanism main body and rotating the platen, a head pushing device(134) for helping separating the papers between the head unit and the platen and a manual paper transmission device(135) for transmitting the paper by manually rotating the platen. Herein, this mechanism consists of a diameter of 7 to 15mm larger than the width of the paper roll in both directions, and the whole size of the printer is decreased by accepting a battery and a PCB substrate together using both sides of the paper roll.
