PURPOSE: A data interfacing apparatus is to switch a line from a local line and a LAN(local area network) using an interfacing card in a personal computer, thereby allowing a single telephone line to be used for a key phone and a general telephone and cutting down expenses. CONSTITUTION: A data interfacing apparatus a PC based key station(100) for switching a line from a local line and a LAN and connecting the line to a single line telephone, a single line(130) for performing a receiving/transferring function with respect to the local line and a key phone which is formed in the key station by a proper software, and a call sever(140) which is mounted in a gate way and performs a call controlling function and an additional function. The key station has an internet card for demodulating a packet transmitted from the LAN and forming PCM(pulse code demodulation) data, and an interface card for transferring the PCM data to the single line telephone or the local line.
