METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: An LCD manufacturing method is provided to minimize the production cost as there is no need to install electric test or and to reduce the occurrence of defect and to enhance the production ratio by detecting and repairing the defect of thin film transistors before combining the two substrates. CONSTITUTION: A system comprises a transparent insulation substrate, a gate insulation layer, an active pattern, a gate bus line, a source electrode and a drain electrode. A method comprises a step of forming the gate electrode and the gate bus line(S102); a step of carrying out the automatic optical inspection for the gate bus line(S104); and a step of storing the content of defect if it occurs at the former stage(S106,108). The method further comprises a step of forming the active pattern by patterning the gate insulation layer of the upper gate electrode(S110); and a step of forming the data bus line including the source electrode, drain electrode(S118).
