For the production of decorated iced pastries, the icing is folded over (11) in a twist by extrusion through moving jets (8,10) to give alternating folds, and the material is laid on a moving conveyor support (3,2,5). A unit supplies an icing composition, to be extruded as a ribbon, at a temperature at most-6 degrees C. A support structure (7) for the jets gives them a lateral oscillating mechanical movement in relation to the moving conveyor. The icing composition can also include decorations as biscuit, and the like. |
