An independent claim is included for adsorbent particles, for use in an extracorporeal blood- and plasma-purification system, containing at least one of the specified AM. - ACTIVITY : Antibacterial; Immunosuppressive. - MECHANISM OF ACTION : Physical removal of (I)-(III), all of which are important factors in pathology of severe sepsis and septic shock. |
